Mayor Maila Rosario Ting-Que led the simultaneous lighting of the Tuguegarao City Christmas Village and food fair opening at the Cathedral Grounds, where Tuguegaraoeños flocked to witness the season’s festivities unfold.
In her statement, the City Mayor said the activity is historic because it symbolizes unity toward a more prosperous Tuguegarao.
A fireworks display made the event more grand as it coincided with the ribbon cutting that formally opened the food fair.
City Administrator Juanito Calubaquib, Councilor Boyet Ortiz, Former 3rd District Representative Randy Ting, Department of Tourism Regional Director Troy Alexander Miano, and Shael Maguddayao attended the activity as the representative from the Civil Service Commission, Metropolitan Tuguegarao Water District (MTWD) General Manager Miller Tanguilan, Rev. Fr. Bernie Corpuz, Parish Priest of the Cathedral, department heads, and city government staff.
