Iwato Namito (波戸 イワト Namito Iwato?) is a character that appears in M3 the dark metal. Iwato is a second year student at Kukunochi Academy and is the best friend of Akashi Saginuma. He is best synchronized with Raika Kasumi.

History
One day, Akashi (in a blue Vess Tower labeled 01) sparred with Iwato (in a red Vess Tower labeled 02), the majority cheered for Akashi, who won the match. Later, Iwato is selected by IX to become a pilot to e ploretheLightless Realm.
