Casa Lane is just down the road from our home in West Grey, Ontario (about 2 hrs NW of Toronto). We spent the last 18 months renovating it, together as a family. Tristan, Brett and I bought the house together so we could each have a vote on functional and design decisons with possible tie breakers. LOL. Because hey, there are a lot a lot a lot of decisions along the way and we didn't want to duke it out . Working together as a family was really beautiful. Brett is an expert in the trades, plumbing, heating, a/c and all the behind the walls stuff. Tristan is an incredible designer. Together we are the team behind Casa Lane.
It is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home with a beautiful bank barn, drive shed and located on 49 acres of land. It is private, calm, serene ~ all the things that comfort is made of.
We named it CASA LANE because the long, scenic laneway lined with fields and trees leads you to the heart of this beautiful property.
Every attention to detail has been an intricate part of this renovation... from the oak floors, stunning handcrafted tiles, custom cabinetry, gorgeous fixtures, and everything in between. We have designed every element of the home. No stone was left unturned. We basically cared about everything. Maybe too much?
Casa Lane is fully furnished and move in ready. It is so beautifully done, we think whomever buys Casa Lane, will want to buy everything in it. It is THAT beautiful.

The views from the windows are breathtaking. 50 acres of rolling hills, fields and forests. It's calm. Serene. Peaceful.

Countertops : Style // Aurelia. We chose HanStone quartz because it's Canadian made and we love the quality.
Kitchen cabinetry is custom designed and built. Painted in one of our all time favourite colours : Natural Cream OC 14.
Quartz install / fabrication: Progressive Countertop fabricated & installed our countertop. So pro. Beautiful workmanship.
We like to think of lighting as jewellery for your home. These wall sconces created the warmth we were looking for.
Faucet: Edwardian Bridge Kitchen Faucet with Sidespray - Unlacquered Brass with Cross Handle. Our splurge $$$ (worth it!!)
LG appliances: side by side column refrigerator and column freezer // counter depth // beige glass.
We realllllly searched far and wide for the perfect tile and this one was it!! The shower tile is Italian and called Glace Bianco Raye. It was also a real joy to buy from Mettro Source. So inspiring!
We wanted the bath fixtures to be stunnnnning. They are. We went with the Edwardian style with cross handles. The best quality. The best style. Love. Love. Love.
We looked at hundreds of photos of vanities. We found ONE that we loved and custom made for the space. The quartz countertop made it all come together beautifully!
Marvin windows. BEAUTIFUL. The workmanship. The craftmanship. The everything. These are the signature ultimate with white oak interior.
Lighting. Don't get us started. It's wildly difficult to find really pretty lights. Especially in Canada. But we did it. We really did it. Note : these are LARGE and in charge.
Farrow and Ball paint is such beauty. We tried 238 colour sample pots and bought an all time fave. School House white. It is truly a beautiful paint to paint with too.
With a custom vanity, we wanted to pick the perfect countertop. We love the simple clean lines of EDEN. Canadian made!
We loved using our favourite white colour SIMPLY WHITE OC 117. It has been a classic fave of ours for years. Warm. Calm. Lovely.
Full steam shower with built in bench, in floor heating, zellige tile and Perrin and Rowe faucets. Luxurious.
One of our fave rooms in the house! We LOVE the teak pocket door with reeded glass that we had custom made in Bali.
The linen light is so precious. We love how it adds to the quaint charm. It really makes the room feel so inviting.
This beautiful floor tile has such character and charm. We overgrouted this tile on purpose to create even more warmth and character.
We purchased all our Emtek door hardware from JRD supply. Love the same style? Ask Rob at JRD - and he'll share our style selects.
We hid the washing machine & dryer within the cabinetry and topped it with HanStone quartz in EDEN.
We had the cabinetry custom made and painted in Farrow & Ball Drop Cloth. The washer/dryer are tucked away. Pretty!
