The White Wolves were a group of wolves dwelling in the north of Middle-earth, known for appearing in The Shire during the Fell Winter in TA 2911.[1] The harsh conditions brought by this winter evidently allowed the wolves to leave their normal habitat in the north, afterwards invading Eriador and eventually the Shire, due to the rare event of the Brandywine freezing over.[2]
Nothing else is told of these wolves.
