Jed Brophy (b. 1963) is a New Zealand actor.
Biography[]
Brophy starred in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. He played the Orcs Sharku and Snaga in The Two Towers. His son Sadwyn Brophy played Eldarion in The Return of the King. He and other actors filed a lawsuit against New Line Cinema over net royalties of The Lord of the Rings merchandise in June 2007 - the suit was settled in November 2008.[1][2]
He also portrayed the Dwarf Nori in all three films of Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy and the Orc Vrath in Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series.
