Evangeline Lilly, also known as Nicole Evangeline Lilly, is a Canadian actress.
She portrays the Elf Tauriel in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
Biography[]
Evangeline Lilly was born to a Protestant family in Alberta, Canada. Her father, Paul Lilly, is a home economics teacher in British Columbia, and her mother is a secretary. Lilly also has two sisters.
Career[]
Evangeline Lilly starred as Kate Austen in the popular ABC drama Lost from 2004 to 2010. More recently, she appeared as Hope van Dyne in the 2015 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Ant-Man. She reprised the role in Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame.
Lilly was previously in a relationship with fellow Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan, actor of Merry in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
