      I was going to inquire about the motivation for this, but then I made it to the keylocker example. Locking and unlocking the console keyboard with the konami code strikes me as entirely sufficient to motivate building this.

      Less jokingly, this looks like very nice work. Most of the practical stuff I think I’d want to do with this probably fits better with eBPF, but I admire what they’ve done here.

        just in case you missed it, the references section at the bottom links a few talks about networking use cases (although reading the abstracts I’m not sure about this vs other approaches indeed)

      There must be some good fun to be had with a Lua repl in the kernel, but I don’t know what it would be.
