Lauryn Iracheta

Peer Health Education Program Manager

Lauryn Iracheta is the Peer Health Education Program Manager. LiveWell’s Peer Health Education program provides peer-to-peer education and support in the areas of health and well-being. Lauryn trains the PHEs to facilitate high-quality, educational workshops to campus with the goal to empower students with knowledge and skills that promote their highest well-being. In Lauryn’s role as Peer Health Education Program Manager, she manages the day-to-day supervision, training, and logistics of the PHE team and their work. Lauryn also manages and trains the Peer Health Educators to facilitate The Body Project, an evidence-based psychoeducation group proven to increase body satisfaction and prevent disordered eating symptoms.

Lauryn received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington. She is currently a graduate student at Seattle University pursuing a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. Her passion and experience with health promotion and student well-being stems from her previous positions as a Peer Health Educator, Peer Wellness Coach, Camp Counselor, and Resident Advisor (for 3 years!).
