Join Liberty Bird Alliance to participate in the 125th Audubon Christmas Bird Count.
Volunteers spread out across our designated 15-mile diameter circle to count all the
winter species we see and hear. This important, long-running wildlife census collects
data across North America (and a bit of South America) to assess the health of bird
populations, and to help guide conservation action. More information on the history of
the Christmas Bird Count can be found here:
https://www.audubon.org/conservation/history-christmas-bird-count
There are several ways to participate in the count:
Join a guided public program within our circle, like this one
Join an established group covering a specific area or cover an area on your own
Feeder-watch in your own yard (if it is located within our circle)
For additional information on any of these options, or to join the count, please contact
our compiler Kristy Morley ([email protected]).
