This was clearly inspired by James Wan's DEAD SILENCE but with a cringey satanic spin...
I was mostly irritated by how hard this crime story tried to be an artistic visual, much less a story worth telling... By the time you understand the pretentious confusion of the simple plot you ask yourself, is that really all? Nothing really happens and when something does happen the film fails to sustain its dramatic relief. Maybe it's because I find religious-based horrors to be silly and amusing, but nothing about this film satisfied me when the credits started rolling upside down...
The cinematography was indeed well crafted, but that's about the only thing I enjoyed about this "must see horror".
