This movie made me realize that in life the most difficult thing is the first step. Once you take that step of initiating a conversation, going back to your past or just doing what your heart wants things become so much more easy and calm. This is something we get to see through Shefali Shah's demeanor and expressions. As the movie progresses the tense look on her face changes into a peaceful one with a bright smile even though she had to face so many emotions in Vengurla.
Another thing that really stayed with me was the characterization of Shailaja and Pradip's spouses. It was so refreshing to see that despite a tinge of insecurity, which was completely natural, both Dipanker and Sarika were truly supportive of their spouses and realized how much both Shailaja and Pradip needed the closure. I would like to believe this is how most people are. They love, they care, they nurture, they trust and they do whatever it takes for their significant other despite xyz.
Shailaja, Dipanker, Pradip and Sarika you will always be cherished ❤
]]>Fault in our stars could never. Also Han Suk-kyu has the bestest smile ever.
]]>The heptapods were actually so nice because I would be so mad if some tiny, blue-planet creatures, who took forever to understand my super intellectual language, referred to me by the number of limbs I have 😭
]]>Kaafi cute but kaafi slow also 🤷♀️

Genuinely had soooo much fun in a bollywood movie after soooo long.
The ability of humans to endure and live through the most complicated circumstances leaves me spellbound every single time.
]]>Every person who was ever a little girl one hundred percent felt this movie in their soul. Also how was this movie exactly what I expected and completely unexpected at the same time 😭
]]>parent figures are soooo confusing but sooo warm
]]>This made me so anxious 😭
]]>Why is it so much more comforting to watch older people in love 🥺
]]>How do I even process this let alone write about it. This was so unsettling yet weirdly comforting at the same time. Some moments felt slightly exaggerated but when I think about it I guess that's just how memories about our past look like to us. Everything from Lolita Chattergee's acting to the direction was literally to die for (pun intended😭).
]]>Kya schemer log hain 😭
]]>This movie could have been better in some aspects but malayalam movies like this never fail to surprise me.

]]>This felt like taking a peaceful nap on the fluffiest cloud 🥰
]]>Despite having such a brilliant cast, Keerathana, who played the character of Amudha, definitely stood out to me. I still can't get over how someone so young could convey so many complex emotions so organically. Apart from this, the chronological arrangement of the events in the movie to the cinematography and the message conveyed by various scenes was just impeccable and a treat to experience. I'm so glad to have accidentally come across yet another Mani Ratnam masterpiece.

]]>Sanjay Mishra and this movie 🤌🤌🤌.
This movie is a perfect example of how slice of life films should be presented. Apart from the fact that this movie managed to perfectly depict the life of character actors, the acting and overall cinematography of the movie made me relate to a world which common people like us often find to be unreachable. Movies about the film industry often make the audience feel detached because of how unreal it looks, but this is a movie that successfully managed to humanize the lives of people who work in cinema, from character actors to casting directors. What I also really liked was the fact that the movie portrays the personal relationships of such artists in a very organic way. It is not exaggerated and dramatic as we imagine it to be. Their lives are, more often than not, just like ours. This movie made me look at the film industry through a more realistic lens and I'm very grateful for this.
wtf wtf wtffff I did not sign up for this 😭

]]>This movie felt like the exact visual depiction of a fever dream, but not in a bad way. It shows how everything about us truely exists only in our minds and it made me question what does our reality even mean. The colours, frames, music, acting and the seamless transition between malayalam and tamil makes this movie an amazing watch for me.

]]>This movie felt like a satisfying meal that solves everything, a warm shower after a long day and a big, rib-crushing hug from all the people you love combined. I feel like it came to me when I needed it the most and made me feel hopeful. Please watch this if you ever doubt yourself, are having a hard time or just want to feel warm and fuzzy.
