Christmas classic honestly.
It’s just so silly and charming and stuffed with ludicrous nonsense that you can tell Joe Dante thought was funny and just put it in there. I can totally respect that- and I thought it was funny too.
Equally self serious as it is fully aware that it’s a total joke. The puppeteering is absolutely insane though. The Gremlins look unbelievably good.
These are first draft characters and the message is like “don’t harm nature” lmao but it’s so, so fun.
