    This is clearly about pedophelia right? Joseph O’Conor’s Mr Abney is played very over the top, but it doesn’t dull the dread that hangs over Lost Hearts.  The Anthology this film is from has been wonderful, really great simple ghost stories.  Gotta love it.

    Kind of zooms way past the point, I hate to say this about a short but… director Robert Verrall could have trimmed this a bit.  

    All praise goes to illustrator Eva Szasz, who drew basically everything you see.

    I'm sure I rated and reviewed this film in the past, but for some reason it's not showing. I'm worried that some of my reviews are disappearing... like the bodies in Clue!

    I love this movie, I've seen it only a couple times, but it's just a joy to spend time with all of these actors. The best performance here is Madeline Kahn, and her "Flames on the side of my face" speech is a masterclass in delivery.
