This is magnificent. One of the most profound works I have seen, experimental and full of metaphors. This entire short is full of symbolism that portrays hatred and dehumanization through sequences that are simply wonderful.
I wish more people knew this work by Thodoros Maragos.

The Ascent by Larisa Shepitko, known for having been the wife of Elem Klimov (Director of Come and See), is one of the best films of all time and also one of the best to portray WW2, I would say that it would enter the top 10.
It is impossible to talk about this film without talking about its incredible sound design, it is often used to convey the suffering of the characters…
