For a while, Love Actually was one of those films that seemed really so and so. After watching it for the first time this week, I honestly thought it was pretty well made. Although the film felt like it could have cut one or two storylines to help smooth out the runtime and draw a little more focus to some of the more underdeveloped plotlines, along with it's unconventional narrative structure, the performances from the A-list, relatable characters, fun humor, and sense of charm and warmth, are just so irresistible.
All in all, Love Actually made for a pretty comforting and sweet holiday watch.

Christmas with the Kranks is one of those holiday films that I have unable to get out of my head for quite some time. Although the plot can be somewhat of a cluster when factoring in the multiverse , Deadpool and Wolverine acts as a celebration of both old and new Marvel Cinema. Seriously, getting to watch the two hero's throwdown some epic blows at one another was so awesome. The fault's are there, but I can honestly say that I found myself liking this film quite a bit. Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick simply do their best and deliver a pretty modest holiday film that provides some laughs and warmth.
