Dev Patel went hard in this badass revenge-action flick. As the filmmaker and lead it must've been a challenge, I'd love to see Patel direct more in the future.

I see the similarities with John Wick especially towards the final act. It was just as brutal and amazingly choreographed.

The cinematography was insane... the editing between the fights, training montage, and camerawork. Also, loved the imagery behind the white monkey.

Drugs, sex, crime, fight club... Monkey Man had it all.
