"Dream Scenario" turns out to have two sides – an A and a B side. The A-side, which lasts about an hour, is decidedly dazzling. Here, seriousness, comedy and existential ethics merge imperceptibly with a deep and often painful melancholy.

"The Shepherd" is a well-intentioned and visually low-key anti-war film that has its strengths in select sequences. Unfortunately, approx. half, if not more, of the film is decidedly undermined by Arthur Valentin Grósz's original "minimalist chamber music" – a killer of vast dimensions.
