Alien: Romulus is the best sequel since James Cameron's "Aliens." The film is set in between "Alien" and "Aliens." The film is about six young space colonists who encounter hostile creatures while scavenging a derelict space station. The Substance is the best body horror film since David Cronenberg's "The Fly." The film is about a celebrity (Demi Moore) who uses a black-market drug that creates a much younger version of herself (Margaret Qualley) with unexpected side effects. Coralie Fargeat's direction and screenplay are nothing short of masterful. This is a masterfully constructed piece of filmmaking from top to bottom.
