Detektiv macht Detektiv-Sachen ist eins meiner Lieblingssubgenres. Genau das konnte ich in Longlegs genießen. Nur bevorzuge ich den eingeschlagenen Weg eines Catch the Killer als reinen Krimi-Thriller mehr als den hier umgesetzten Mantel eines Horrorfilms mit übernatürlichen Elementen. Zumal der Versuch von Horror manchmal durch den Einsatz von Musik misslingt. Die schaurigsten Momente sind hier die stillen.

Detective does detective stuff is one of my favorite subgenres. That's exactly what I was able to enjoy in Longlegs. I just prefer the path taken by Catch the Killer as a pure crime thriller more than the mantle of a horror film with supernatural elements implemented here. Especially since the attempt at horror sometimes fails through the use of music. The scariest moments here are the quiet ones.
