It explores the fear so many of us have about the legacy we leave behind—how many more books can we read before it’s over?
How many more breakfasts can we make for our loved ones?
How many firsts do we have left?

This film presents a unique challenge when it comes to critique. Should it be assessed as a direct sequel to the 2019 film, or should it be evaluated as a standalone feature? I have chosen the former.
Starting with the positives:

• The sound design is impeccable, and it’s an experience best enjoyed in theatres before its release on VOD or streaming platforms.

My perspective is in no way influenced by the real-life controversies surrounding the author of the book on which this film is based, the drama involving the cast and crew, or the recent issues during the film's press tour.
For any die-hard fans of Colleen Hoover's work, this is my opinion and should not be considered hate.…
