    nothing else is quite like this movie. a world of angst, violence & depression with the only escape being the dreamlike music of Lily Chou-Chou. how music connects people. the dreamlike surreal visuals, a collection of memories, how our experiences shape us, how people can go down a route of despair and violence. but despite this, the shared love of art remains. i don’t even know but this film will be on my mind for a long time. utterly depressing & beautiful. a film everyone should watch.

    another awesome Brain Yuzna production full of great practical effects and an always great Jeffery Combs! Really enjoyed this movie, it has a lot of really cheesy moments combined with insanity that makes it a super fun watch! the 4K transfer looks great too. recommended!

    one of the best modern horror movies I’ve seen & easily my fave 2024 film so far! also the most uncomfortable & closest to being sick i have ever been watching a movie. the body horror was excellent & the gore was insane. idk if this will be a film i will watch again as it was just so gross but i can see it being a 5 star on rewatch! the themes in the film were really interesting & important too, combined with the excellent acting performances, sound & cinematography! an essential watch, looking forward to seeing more from Coralie Fargeat!
