I really like the self-aware humor for this film. It kind of feels like a prototype for the Scream series main appeal. My favorite entry in the franchise for sure.

Can easily sum up this movie as this "Imagine if the ring had to rely on jumps-cares for the entirety of its runtime instead of having a naturally unsettling atmosphere".
That being said the monster design was cool.
