Truly a beautiful and emotional movie. Perfection! The beginning of the film is masterfully told with incredible characters, flawless dialogue and an engaging story. Then, the final 40 minutes are some of the best moments I have ever seen in a film.

People were so lucky in 1968 with the release of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Planet of the Apes, two of the most iconic science-fiction films. While Planet of the Apes may not match Kubrick's technical perfection, I can't help but love every minute of it. The ape makeup and special effects, although groundbreaking for the time, may seem dated, but to me they just add to the charm.
