You notice the skull in the title? Well, that means that things doesn't look good for the Harbinger, do they?
The granddaughter of the captain is doing some research about whales, and their migration, and it's because of the climate change strange stuff is happening... Until they catch, instead of crabs, a CCCP space vessle, with frozen stuff aboard which shouldn't be defrozen, that's when things go berserk.
Plotwise it's difficult to find a less well-trodden path in these type of survival movies, and maybe the biggest problem is that it's never really scary or thrilling, so only some touches, like it never takes itself too seriously (the Jaws reference!), and the presence of like the godfather of SF horror, prevents this from eternal burial in the arctic ice.
