28 Days Later 2002
The trailer for 28 Years Later made me watch this, and honestly, no regrets because this movie is so good and super thrilling. It’s a gripping, nerve-wracking ride that redefines the zombie apocalypse genre. Danny Boyle’s hauntingly empty London and the ferocious infected create an atmosphere of pure dread. The story keeps you hooked, and the performances are top-notch—especially Cillian Murphy, whose pretty eyes are hard to ignore (seriously, mesmerizing!). I love everything about this film and can’t wait to watch the sequel next year!

Heretic 2024
Heretic tries to blend psychological horror with faith-testing thrills but ends up feeling like a slow-burning game of cat-and-mouse where the tension fizzles before it fully ignites. Hugh Grant delivers a solid performance as the sinister Mr. Reed, but at times, the movie drags so much it feels like it’s asking, “What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here” à la Creep by Radiohead.
It was a decent film, but, man, the pacing makes it feel painfully long. Maybe a rewatch will change things, but right now, I’m just a weirdo who’s not entirely sold on this one🙂↕️

Also, about Timothee Chalamet, I haven’t really seen him in a role yet where I’ve gone 'wow' at his acting but not this time. His appearance was extraordinarily captivating.
Kudos to Villeneuve and his team achieved this jaw-dropping masterpiece. Visually stunning from start to finish. Epic cinematic!

Irreversible 2002
Irreversible is one hell of a disturbing movie—seriously, some scenes are super uncomfortable to sit through. But somehow, I still enjoyed it. The storyline is interesting, the scoring is haunting, and the cinematography is insane. Gaspar Noé really went out of the box with the spinning camera technique—it’s dizzying, but it makes the film feel even more intense.
I also really liked the ending, especially the scene between Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci. Their chemistry is so natural, and they…
