Clint Eastwood directing Angelina Jolie as a woman from the 1920s, whose son is kidnapped and murdered, to a score created by Clint Eastwood- are the ingredients to a perfect movie. Changeling had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering if Christine Collins would find her son and what would happen next in the most fulfilling of ways. This is movie magic
Gladiator II 2024

I went into this movie thinking it would be awful and I really enjoyed myself! Unlike Wicked which was like watching the sun explode, Gladiator II had quiet moments of serious passion. Denzel Washington is reliably wonderful and ought to get a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his ambiguous giant of the roman age.
