In an age where everything is literal, Malick dives into the world of Symbolism.
From the contradicting feelings of being a child to the struggles of loss and confusion, this movie covers all the details of life in a truely beautiful way. I have never seen a movie tell its story quite like this one and it is fucking breathtaking.

This film is a 3 hour long game of cops and robbers played by arguably the 2 greatest actors we have ever seen and I loved every second of it.
Heat does an incredible job of not painting “good guys” and “bad guys.” Every character we see has a deep story for us to understand and so many parallels can be drawn between them.

This is so much better than I remembered. James Cameron’s world building is absolutely elite and Avatar transports you into the world it is portraying like no other. The third act is possibly the most captivating hour in cinema. What an experience.
