Silence of the lambs zodiac and Annabelle combined is basically the plot of this film minus the cannibalism that is. Nicolas Cage just killed that shit. Truly played an absolute freak and he did it very well. Seriously might be one of his best performances. Maika Monroe was also extremely good in this. And I plan to watch more of her films. The film is mad from the start. It gets a little slow in the middle but quickly picks up with an ending that left me shook. I did see the devil in the background a few times probably didn’t notice all of them. Pretty cool addition to the film considering at the root of it all is Longlegs devil worshipping. The twist of what happened to her when she was younger with him I did not see coming and I really liked. The scene where he smashes his head in the table was also completely unexpected. And completely changed the film. And the actual end was even more insane the ending twists really makes this movie so damn good.
