there were definitely a few exaggerations BUT i do not mean that in a negative way. was this the scariest film of all time or even in recent times? no! but that’s okay! this wasn’t the kind of horror film that needed jumpscares or over the top blood/gore. the eerie atmosphere and cinematography alone are what makes this movie so special. maika monroe’s performance was so captivating and nic as longlegs??? FUCKING BRILLIANT. i will for sure be revisiting this when it comes to digital. fantastic work of art!
