I sure was! What a great film! Got Game of Thrones vibes from this, was like watching a Young Ned Stark (Maximus) on a vengeance mission against Joffrey (Commodus) that spoiled little cunt. The film is so old but I’m amazed how well it holds up in 2024 in 4K. My only complaint is, the final fight was too short.

The only thing racing through my mind was how badly Snape didn’t want to go through with killing Dumbledore.

Got back from Japan a month ago and yearning to just go back again! The nostalgia of walking down the same streets and seeing the same stations and landmarks in this film, the hand drawn similarities are crazy! Blessed to have climbed those same iconic red handrail stairs near Shinjuku.

This film in the franchise imo is under appreciated! I rank it in the top 3 easily. It’s got a bit of everything. Also would never have expected of all people, Harry to use the Cruciatus curse on Bellatrix! Best scene in this film for me was when Dumbledore teleports with the Phoenix! ‘But you can't deny, Dumbledore's got style’ +10,000 Aura Points 😮💨

One of, if not the best in the franchise! Brilliantly paced and entertaining. Love how it took a real dark turn and felt more mature. Always love time travel elements in films but my favourite scene in this film had to be when Harry fell off his broom and Dumbledore gets up and uses Arresto Momentum with his frikin hand 🥶

Damn! Did not expect this Transformers film to be this good! The more recent live action films were hot garbage and for me the franchise died after Dark of the Moon, but this animated film has gone and revived that spark. I need more!

It’s that time of the year again! ❄️
Special viewing of it this time around! My personal 4K Upscaled Open Matte version of the film which took roughly 11 hours to render but was worth every second! It looked absolutely incredible and I don’t think I could ever go back to watching the regular 4K Blu-Ray release with 2.40:1. Nevertheless, it’s such an iconic film and I still hate myself for sleeping on this franchise when I was young, I didn’t give HP a watch till Deathly Hallows P1 released which tbh is kind of a blessing, at least I didn’t have to suffer the decade long wait to watch them all.

Felt more like 1 long episode than a movie, glad I didn’t waste my money going cinema for it since it is more like a semi recap of season 1. Nevertheless, Nagi is one of the more interesting characters and glad we got more of him from his perspective this time.

Oscar worthy performance from Jake Gyllenhaal. Such a psychotic mofo! Gotta respect the hustle. Rick got too greedy, should have walked away with the 10 bags. Also, why on earth didn’t they use the trailer music ‘I’d love to change the world’ in the film, would have been so sick transitioning from his cheap car to the Challenger or for the high speed police chase scene.

Never even knew this film existed till I saw it floating about on Letterboxd. Film was surprisingly sick! The cinematography was beautiful. That Alien was so damn OP, was just sat here thinking, how tf does she plan on even killing it? This deffo deserved the IMAX treatment, shame it never got one. First Predator film I’ve seen, may have to go watch the 1987 film now since that gets a lot of praise.

Hands down the best live action Spider-Man film of all time and frankly nothing since has come close. One of the best and most iconic action sequences in cinema history that train battle with Doc Ock! There’s nothing that really blows your mind away in this film story wise but it’s still pretty entertaining. Not very scary but it was pretty creepy and full of gore. There were moments throughout which were pretty slow and boring but then you’re hit with some quality action. The cinematography and sound design is fantastic, it really has you on edge at times. However, there are so many questions left un-answered to the point this film is so pointless. Definitely overrated.
