That is one of the most terrifying cinema experiences I’ve ever had. Everything about it is truly haunting from the score to Nicolas Cage’s laugh which is still ringing in my soul.
I’m so glad I’ve avoided spoilers up to now, I had no idea what to expect, but that is truly twisted and horrifying from minute one till the very end.
It’s not often that a film sits with me as much as this. I’m still scared and disturbed after leaving the cinema and I think I will be for some time to come.
I do have minor gripes here and there, but that for me, does not detract from this being sensational.
