Renata is a master's student at the International Education Policy Analysis program at the Graduate School of Education. She has worked with research at two university labs in Brazil, Laboratório de Pesquisa em Oportunidades Educacionais (LaPOpE - UFRJ) and Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas em Economia Social (LEPES - USP), in the field of teacher professional development, early childhood education and inequality. Her interests range from child development, parenting interventions, home learning environment, and the potential for schools to support children that have undergone vulnerability and trauma.
