Juliana Portella has a Master's degree in Public Administration from EBAPE/FGV and a B.A. in Economics from PUC-Rio. As an undergraduate, she was a fellow of the Institutional Scientific Initiation Program (CNPQ) program and the Brazilian Tutorial Education Program (MEC). She attended Stanford University in 2018 as a Visiting Student Researcher under the guidance of Professor Martin Carnoy. Juliana was previously a researcher at the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Educational Policies in Brazil - CEIPE and is currently working with the London School of Economic’s International Growth Centre in an impact evaluation study in Mozambique.
