Eduardo Duarte is as International Education Policy Analysis (IEPA) master student at the Stanford Graduare School of Education. He earned his BA in economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica – Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
As an economist, Eduardo worked at the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, at Instituto Pereira Passos, with sociodemographic research focused on youth from favela territories.
Eduardo also worked as a World Bank consultant assessing the impact of education projects and interventions, particularly with the local department education of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
At Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Brazilian not-for-profit research university, Eduardo worked at the education policy think-tank CEIPE, and also as research assistant for professor Tassia Cruz, GSE PhD alumni.
Eduardo also worked at the education departments of Sobral and Niterói, at the Learning Assessment Hub, coordinating the drafting, implementation and analysis of standardized exams, including literacy ones.
