Bruno Betat finished his Master's Degree in International Comparative Education at Stanford University's Graduate School of Education in 2018. Prior to this experience, he worked as Program Officer at the Fulbright Commission in Brazil for four years. By liaising with Brazil’s Ministry of Education, the U.S. State Department, and the Institute of International Education, Bruno helped over 500 U.S. grantees forge academic partnerships with universities and research centers all over Brazil. He received his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Chicago in 2011. Passionate about inclusive education, he has worked with underprivileged students in the University of Chicago Collegiate Scholar Program and done research at Harris School of Public Policy to improve the math performance of disadvantaged students. He currently works as a Project Manager for Programa Formar at the Lemann Foundation.
