About Bruna Tsarbopoulos
Bruna is a teacher and social entrepreneur with a degree in History and Education from the University of São Paulo. Since 2017, she has led social innovation projects, combining her background in management and educational frameworks to promote equity in Brazilian education. As President of the Semear Institute, she works to reduce university dropout rates for low-income students, aiming to expand these efforts nationwide.
About Elisa Mansur
Elisa Mansur is the Early Childhood Director at VélezReyes+, the Latin American philanthropic platform of David Vélez and Mariel Reyes. VélezReyes+ works to fulfill Latin America's potential by catalyzing initiatives in Education and Leadership that close the opportunity gap. Elisa will share about the foundation's priorities, recent work, future projects and main learnings regarding different educational segments in Brazil. Amongst others, this includes a discussion on the country's new integrated early childhood policy, the Artificial Intelligence Alliance and advances in school connectivity.
