Doctor of Education from the Faculty of Education at Unicamp and professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the same institution. She conducts research on the quality of coexistence and school climate, conflicts and violence in schools, moral and socioemotional development, and relationships between students and teachers. Coordinator of the "Ethics, Diversity, and Democracy in Public Schools" Study Group at the Institute of Advanced Studies at Unicamp and vice-leader of the "Moral Education Research Group" (GEPEM) at Unesp/Unicamp. Associate coordinator of the interinstitutional research project "Ethical and Democratic Coexistence in School and Society."
