Summary[]
Kalavinka punches the monster and seems to kill it. She says that she is glad she managed to arrive on time and congratulates Leez on her speed, but is surprised that Leez isn't able to hear sura speech. Haas is scared but Kaz is not and calls Kalavinka strong and cool, making her smile. More monsters keep attacking and she kills them with apparent ease, but they keep piling up and she tells Ran to help. Ran complains that the environment is unsuitable to his powers, prompting Kalavinka to tell him to guard the kids, but he refuses as he does not want to show his face. Ran steps into a pond and summons huge pillas of ice to stab the monsters chasing him.
Once the monsters have all been dealt with Ran wonders about their nature. Kalavinka explains that she does not know either, they started to appear around 2 years before the Cataclysm. She explains that inferior suras and Halfs lost their minds, but superior suras simply showed increased agression, holding part of their sanity, but attacking these monsters on sight. Considering the size of the sura forms of Nastikas and their destructive powers they ended up causing much more damage to their surroundings, humans and suras both, than to the monsters. She explains how monsters with the same form kept appearing, so they might not have even damaged the monsters in the end, as they might not have a concept of death. Ran asks if they are similar to the Tarakas, but Kalavinka tells him that they are very different beings, since they do not have the eyes, can be distinguished by appearance and are dark blue, while the Tarakas are dark red. Kalavinka explains how Visnu once called these beings "the losers of the previous universe".
There is a flashback to Visnu explaining to a 2nd stage Kalavinka how the losers are people who were eliminated from the previous game and that this universe was created to give them another chance, as a consolation match. Kalavinka asks about the roles of suras and gods in the game, asking if they are also losers, but Visnu explains that some of them are already out of the game, as referees, spectators or cheerleaders, as he calls them. Kalavinka asks about the rest besides those few, making Visnu wonder if there is no use for them.
The flashback ends and Kalavinka tells Ran how the monsters do not seem to attack each other and attack not only other sentient races, but also animals, plants and topological features. Unlike the Tarakas they do not eat, only kill and destroy. Kalavinka shares her guess that their condition of victory must be eliminating every living being besides themselves. She tells Ran how they do not seem to attack just anyone, but in a similar way to the Tarakas focus on weakened but strong targets, Leez in this case. Ran seems concerned both about how the gods in the future do not seem worried about these beings and how Leez never mentioned such an incident in her vilalge to him before. He asks her if she is sure about the destruction of the village being supposed to happen now, to which she replies that she does not know, Visnu spoke in riddles.
Jibril and Laila are shown fighting together against Marut, who wonders if she was the only one late to the fight. Jibril tells Laila to go back but she seems worried about leaving Jibril alone against a god. Jibril then points out that her own summoned god is still active. A tall hooded figure appears, who summons a golden spear and Marut calls "Kubera".

(pic 1: Kalavinka driving off a blue monster with a punch) Giving a bashing
There were people worried (?) about the clean-up of the debris, but when they die, they just disappear.
(pic 2: Ran transcendental eliminating blue monster) Magic? Transcendental?
There might be magicians who can use magic like that, but Ran is not one of them. It's a transcendental. He learned about quite a few transcendentals while training with Yaksha, and among them were transcendentals that can be used with Ran's usual power. This is one of them.
(pic 3: Flashback of Visnu) So he had this kind of face?
You said it was a pity that the scene in which his eyes are revealed was black and white, but in fact, it was possible because it was black and white.
Since Visnu's eyes have an unrecognizable color, there is no way to express them in color...!
Oh, and Visnu is playing Go with himself. Some of you were talking about how a primeval god plays Go against a baby lolol If you take a closer look, you see that Kalavinka has no interest in Go at all, and that Visnu keeps playing by himself.
(pic 4: Kubera vs. Marut) Are you also a god?
Since Marut has been summoned by a human, she is weaker than when she fought in the sura realm.
Notes[]
- Although the Garudas are known for their exceptional vision, Kalavinka did not see Leez race towards Brilith, much like Maruna could not see Ananta's movements when he took Raltara way from Sagara.[1][2]
- A few of the blue monster's/Loser's appearances closely resemble those that appeared in S3-170.
