God's Blessings for These Unchanging Days! (この
Synopsis[]
Kazuma has crashed Darkness's wedding to Aldarp and pays him the two billion eris he says he's owed. Aqua and Kazuma try to make off with Darkness but Aldarp won't relinquish her so easily and orders his guards to stop their escape.
Plot[]
In response to Darkness yelling at him for committing the capital offence of interfering in a nobles' wedding, Kazuma tells the heiress off over her paying his debts for him. Aldarp accordingly dares the poor commoner Kazuma to buy the indebted Lalatina from him with the amount of money she owes, so Kazuma does exactly that by scattering the 2 billion eris hidden in a nearby vase all over the church.
While Aldarp is distracted by the money he and some other guests in addition to the remaining clergy busy themselves with scooping up, Darkness becomes astounded from hearing how Kazuma sold the rights to all current and future intellectual property as well as expending his entire savings so he could come up with the money. Next told to repay him with her body, she suffers a mental and physical meltdown from the delight, prompting Kazuma who denies the scumminess of his intent to pick her up in a princess carry before dashing for the exit alongside a quipping Aqua.
With guards near the door charging up to stop them from escaping, Darkness whom Kazuma calls heavily muscular irately jumps to the floor and rips up her wedding dress to take on the guards attempting to overpower her immense strength. Aqua at Kazuma's request promptly casts Versatile Entertainer so he can through mimicking Aldarp's voice order the guards to ignore Darkness for picking up the money instead. But just as the trio approaches the door, they find their way blocked by a giant guard, who consequently gets buried under the rubble when the wall behind him is cut away by a Light of Saber to reveal the posing Megumin and the apprehensive Yunyun who was goaded by friendship into assisting. With Megumin to whom Yunyun points out Kazuma's presence already having prepared for casting Explosion even though she is inside the city, the guards and guests who know of her craziness are scared into inaction despite Aldarp's dismissals, so Megumin in response releases the magic circles into the air and sends the people in the vicinity into panic.
While Darkness is moved by the bashful Megumin who outshone Kazuma's efforts also coming to her rescue, Aldarp promises lavish rewards for the adventurers gathered around the church if they capture the fugitives, only for his cries to fall on deaf ears. Kazuma thus tells Darkness to stop stubbornly acting alone, since she ends up needing the other adventurers to aid her. When he next ponders what to do against the numerous guards headed his way, Megumin who could no longer restrain her pent-up magic releases an Explosion right above their heads to everybody's horror, though the city suffers relatively slight damage thanks to her sandwiching the explosive power between two magic circles.
Consequently sneered at by the girls for taking cover behind Darkness, Kazuma calls for them to make a break for it now that the way is open, yet Aldarp orders his recovering guards to chase after the five. The gang then suddenly hears Keith who bumps into the guards before falling onto the ground hollering about his arm being broken because the governor's men knocked him down, and when the guards deny any wrongdoing, Dust accusing the hated governor's lackeys of dealing implausible injuries to him and his party incites the other adventurers into beating the guards up. As the delinquent vents his displeasure over the hell that a noble recently gave him to Rin's exasperation, Kazuma planning to invite the adventurers for drinks later on successfully escapes while Aldarp howls behind them.
Back at the Dustiness manor, Darkness leads her party past the surprised Norris and other house guards straight towards Ignis' side, where she tells her dying father how she wrecked the wedding and fled, though Ignis instead rejoices this development. Muttering about Darkness looking as beautiful as her mother, Ignis next beckons Kazuma to his bedside, at which Megumin considerately leaves the room to join Yunyun outside, though Aqua stays behind to look around.
Subsequent to thanking Kazuma for all he had done for them, Ignis offers him Darkness' hand in marriage, though Kazuma refuses due to seeing it as a punishment. As Ignis signs in relief, Kazuma realises his intention of having him look after Darkness rather than let her be taken away by some other weird guy. Upon Darkness expressing how happy she is with her current lifestyle alongside her friends even if it means throwing everything away, Ignis sensing his time has come encourages her to walk her own path while he takes care of the rest. He and the weeping Darkness proceed to have their last conversation about how one day, they will talk about Darkness' late mother again, while Kazuma at the side struggles to hold back his tears.
Aqua suddenly casts Sacred Break Spell on Ignis, following which his health rapidly improves now that the powerful curse laid onto him was broken. The goddess goes on to cheerfully boast how her stupendous powers saved Ignis from death in the nick of time, and rejoices at him being able to tell Darkness more stories about her mother, totally oblivious to the awkward embarrassment of the others who had just been in the depths of sorrow.
Back in the basement of his manor, the utterly incensed Aldarp repeatedly stomps Max, calling him a worthless Demon despite having the powers of adjustment. Accordingly told by Max, whom the governor thinks is a Low-Ranked Demon summoned through the stone for randomly summoning monsters, about somebody breaking the curse he had laid on Ignis, Aldarp orders his servant to adjust the memories of the wedding attendees and justify his actions during the day, only to be told that the light which had broken the curse is blocking the Demon's powers.
Crazed by frustration, Aldarp plans to end their contract, though not before ordering Max to forcibly bring Lalatina to him in exchange for the price the incompetent Demon is owed. As Max is reminded of him being owed a price, Lalatina suddenly appears asking to apologise for what happened earlier. The governor thus delightedly promises to pay Max his price and declares him free of their contract, then ravenously rushes towards Lalatina as she offers up her body in exchange for her party members' lives, only to be shocked when her body turns into that of a laughing Vanir.
Enjoying the bitter disappointment from Aldarp who got tricked by his shapeshifting and realises him to be a Demon, Vanir reintroduces himself for the umpteenth time to Maxwell, the Adjuster who can bend the truth, and declares his intent of taking the forgetful Demon back to their homeland in Hell. When Aldarp protests having his servant taken away, Vanir reveals Maxwell's identity as a Duke of Hell just like him. The Masked Demon goes on to comment about Aldarp being extremely lucky for summoning the mentally childlike Maxwell who allowed the governor to rise as high as he did, since other Demons would have ripped him apart upon discovering that the puny but arrogant man didn't prepare a suitable price.
Vanir accordingly reminds Aldarp of him hastily promising to pay Maxwell his price and end their contract so the forgetful Demon will be free, which exactly is the result the All-Seeing Demon had aimed for when he helped Kazuma pay off the debt and revealed the governor's misdeeds. Then just as Vanir declares heading back to work for the ridiculous shopkeeper later on, the Adjuster remembers to claim the price his former employer had unwittingly promised to pay, which starts with him breaking Aldarp's arm to taste the screaming governor's appetising negative emotions. Quipping at the side about Aldarp's natural lifespan being insufficient for repaying the enormous price in the form of continuously releasing negative emotions for a set period of time, Vanir further states that only the governor himself and not somebody in his household will be obliged to pay the price, before Maxwell proceeds to torture from Aldarp all his negative emotions of despair.
Upon appearing at their mansion entrance the following morning, Darkness surprises the others with the news of how Aldarp had disappeared overnight, as well as evidence of all his numerous crimes suddenly coming to light, including indications of him gifting the Divine Item that switches bodies to Iris. With people speculating the governor having fled from prosecution, Kazuma in addition to Megumin and Aqua are told that the bags they had packed for fleeing are no longer needed.
Darkness next shows apprehension towards Kazuma inviting her back into their mansion, so Aqua explains to the puzzled Megumin of how Kazuma had paid a fortune to purchase Darkness, at which Kazuma hurriedly stops her from continuing the misunderstanding-inducing explanation before Megumin gets further agitated. This is followed by a sincere apology from Darkness over all the trouble her foolish acts had caused them, though Megumin and Aqua readily forgive her. Kazuma is next apologised at because he had to sell off all his irrecoverable intellectual property, but just as he plans to make a living by selling Japanese food, Darkness reveals that the kingdom can reimburse his fortune plus the reparations he had paid for damaged buildings using Aldarp's confiscated wealth. Overjoyed at his 2 billion eris coming back, Kazuma calls Aqua and Megumin bitches when they abruptly kiss up to him in hopes of having him buy something that they want. He next remembers about the letter Darkness wrote when leaving the party, only to have Megumin and Aqua beat him in declaring their dismissal of it, before Kazuma too welcomes Darkness back.
The party accordingly heads to the Guild for lunch, yet while Luna signs up new adventurers, the Ruffian drinks in the vicinity of Dust's party, Yunyun builds a house of cards, Wiz tries selling the pendent she had previously purchased, Vanir chases more crows away to the admiration of neighbourhood housewives, and Chris donates more loot to the church of Eris, Aqua and Megumin angrily reprimand Kazuma upon hearing how he nearly crossed the line when he broke into Darkness' family home. Kazuma thus retaliates by revealing that it was Darkness who began seducing him, prompting Aqua to take Emperor Zel's egg outside while Megumin grills the distressed heiress.
Kazuma next inquires Aqua regarding the kingdom's marriage registration system, which in fact involves the couple registering their marriage with the city hall in the morning before holding the ceremony in the afternoon. Abruptly realising that Darkness now has the weird characteristics of being a divorced virgin on top of a masochistic noble, the others discuss about the divorcee now known by the world for having her officially wedded husband dumping her on the night of their wedding, before the shocked Darkness is brought to humiliated tears when Kazuma calls her "Divorcedness."

- Kazuma in the light novel scatters the 2 billion eris from a bag.

- Megumin sandwiching her Explosion between magic circles is an anime-only feature, as in the light novel she simply releases it high into the air.
- Yunyun in the light novel gets tricked by Megumin into being the rearguard following the Explosion, whom Aldarp's guards try to overwhelm until Keith steps in.
- When shapeshifting into Darkness, Vanir in the light novel takes the form of her wearing a sexy nightgown.
- Aldarp upon seeing Vanir reveal his identity in the light novel orders Max to kill the All-Seeing Demon, but the Broken Demon instead refuses to kill his kin.
- In the light novel, Aldarp is told by Vanir that he manipulated events to publicly humiliate him for his exquisite negative emotions of embarrassment, and doesn't cover his baldness with a wig.
- Aldarp in the light novel gets his other arm broken by Maxwell as Vanir foretells how his crimes will all be exposed without the Adjuster's power which results in all his wealth being confiscated by House Dustiness, prompting him to beg for mercy from Maxwell who is advised by Vanir to take the governor back to Hell until the price owed is paid off.
- In the light novel, Maxwell describes himself to be faithfully fond of Aldarp unlike how the governor treated the girls he had toyed with, though this only makes Aldarp pray to the gods for the Broken Demon to quickly lose interest in him so that he can die a quick death.
- Kazuma in the light novel had initially planned to flee for a faraway place where the protagonists could work as farmers until things die down, and feels something unusual about the way Aldarp disappeared.
- Darkness elaborates in the light novel that it was supposed to be Aldarp who's responsible for paying for collateral damages suffered during the battle against Beldia and the attack of the Destroyer, something that she was somehow induced into forgetting back then.
- In the light novel, Kazuma who had planned to stay outside for a week in order to use the services of the Succubus Cafe tells Darkness to forget what had happened on the previous day including the part where he declared the purchase of her, much to the Crusader's disappointment.
- The party's conversation in the light novel subsequent to welcoming Darkness back occurs inside the mansion instead of the Guild.
Trivia[]
- Growing Up was used as the ending song instead of the opening.
