Yoshigai is the play-by-play announcer in Kinnikuman and Kinnikuman Nisei.
About[]
Wherever there's a wrestling match, Yoshigai is there as the Play-by-play announcer. He is based on Yudetamago's neighbor, Yoshio Yoshigai (吉開吉男). His character design and hairstyle are drastically changed for the original anime. In Kinnikuman: Scramble for the Throne he is replaced by Announcer Sekiguchi.

21st Chojin Olympics Arc[]
Yoshigai returns as the play-by-play announcer in the new olympics, with Tazahama as his color-comentator again. And then, as in the previous tournament, he stays as the main announcer for the rest of the arc, suffereing the antics of his companion.

Anime Changes[]
Aside from a different character design, Yoshiga stays as the announcer of the matches for most of the series. Now, instead of having to listen to Tazahama's comments, he has to suffer the wackiness and random behaviour of Nakano as his color-comentator.
