Planet Kinniku

Planet Kinniku (キン肉星, Kinniku-sei) is a planet from Kinnikuman and Kinnikuman Nisei, and is the home-world of the Kinniku Clan.

Muscle Falls[]

This is the graveyard of the Kinniku royal family. It is located in the mountainside of the palace, and where kings - close to death - instinctively travel and all die at the same site. ^[1] Over time, all the corpses packed together and came to resemble the torso of a human form. A large volume of water gushes out called "The Water of Wisdom"; it is prohibited for regular citizens to drink from its waters, but only royal family members. ^[1]

Culture[]

From a very young age, many clans wear masks that look so realistic that it could be mistaken for their face, in fact the face underneath is more human in appearance (i.e. Mantaro's large lips are part of the mask, his actual face has a normal mouth). The head fin shared among the planets inhabitants is part of this mask. The mask can never be removed—to lose one's mask is punishable by death.

The dub of the anime, possibly to prevent touching sensible themes as death, gives a different penance for the member of the Kinniku Clan showing his face to the public: instead of facing the death penalty, he would stripped of any royal privilege and forbidden by law to wrestle again, in any capacity and for the rest of his life, turning him into an exiled outcast.
