MAXman (マックスマン) is an early antagonist in Kinnikuman Nisei. He is the grandson of Sneagator, and a member of the d.M.p.
About[]
The grandson of Sneagator, who was an older-generation of Devil Chojin that was defeated by Kinnikuman. He can transform into a sneaker at will. Kinniku Mantaro fights him after he beats up Seiuchin, which happens after Mantaro's match against Tel-Tel Boy at the Nippon Budokan. During the fight, Mantaro figures out that a shoe's worst enemy is faeces; this used to defeat MAXman.
Personality[]
As his grandfather, MAXman is a brutal and ruthless enemy that will always try to cause the maximun damage to his enemies. He shows no mercy, and hates weakness, as seen when he kicked the wounded Tel-Tel Boy out of the ring.
Appearance[]
Unlike his father or grandfather, MAXman has a more humanoid appearance and face. He has a body that resemblance that of a sneaker. He has grey skin and yellow eyes, and on top of his head there is a hat. He has the d.M.p logo on one of his arms.
History[]
Prehistory[]
He was personally trained by his father, who wish to turn him into an invincible warrior to defeat the Idol Chojins and the Kinniku Clan, in order to take revenge for Sneagator defeat. So instead of making him learn all the transformations of his grandfather, MAXman focused only on the sneaker transformation.
Kinnikuman Nisei[]
d.M.p Arc[]
MAXman works alongside Tel-Tel Boy and Kevin Mask as a trio from the dMp, where he is first seen attacking Gazelleman in a dark alley at night. [1] He criticises Kevin during the Tel-Tel Boy vs. Mantaro match, when Kevin shows enthusiasm towards Mantaro and shows dislike towards Tel-Tel Boy's methods. [2] On Mantaro's victory, he challenges Mantaro to an immediate match and hopes to defeat him. [3]
He first murders Tel-Tel Boy, before he is confronted by Kevin Mask for ignoring Clause 45, which states - when a wrestler has multiple battle on one day - he shall be given an hour between matches to rest in cases of serious injury. [4] This news infuriates him, but he passes time by issuing a challenge to the number two graduate of the Hercules Factory: Seiuchin. [5] He proceeds to defeat Seiuchin with ease. [6]
MAXman reveals - in a flashback - he was brutally trained by his father, Sneagator Jr., who wanted to avenge his father, Sneagator, who was defeated by the Muscle League. [7] Mantaro uses the idea of creating faecal matter to destroy MAXman, who collides into the faeces and grows distressed at the physical contact. [8] He is defeated by a Kinniku Buster, but is no longer seen again in either anime or manga. [8]
