Kani Base is a crab chojin. He has a grudge against Kinnikuman for always winning him in rock-papper-scissors
About[]
In the 20th Chojin Olympics preliminaries, the fighters had to participate in a game of rock-paper-scissors. Kinnikuman took on Kani Base who because he had pincers for hands could only choose scissors, Kinnikuman chose rock and beat him. Before the 21st Olympics he had his pincers changed to hands, and lost again when Kinnikuman chose scissors. Friends with Kinkotsuman and Iwao.
Personality[]
He is portrait as a dumb and clumpsy chojin who always gets ridiculized in the majority of his appearances. He quite irritable, since he started a fight with Kinnikuman, and also quite vengeful, because after his defeat in the rock-paper-scissors challenge, he tries to sabotage the competition.
Appearance[]
He is an humanoid crab, usually portrait with a green and red coloration. His hands start as regular crab claws, but then he went through a surgery to have five-finger hands. Years later, at the Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection, he is shown as an elderly version of himself, now sporting six arms, each one with hands in diferent shapes, perfect for rock-paper-scissors.

Kinnikuman[]
After his defeat at Kinnikuman hands, he starts a one-side rivalry with him, trying to get revenge on multiple occasions. After a hand surgery, he tries to get revenge on him, but is again humiliated by Kinnikuman.
Kinkotsuman & Iwao[]
He forms an alliance with the kaiju duo in order to sabotage the competition, and specially, Kinnikuman. The plan doesn't go very well, and after some fail atends to sabotage the Olympics, Kani Base stops his association with them.

20th Chojin Olympics Arc[]
Kani Base is first seen as the Italian representative during the 20th Chojin Olympics. [4] He is accidentally elbowed by Kinnikuman in the face, which causes a fight to break out, but a rock-paper-scissor match is declared as a means to see who will qualify for the competition. Kani Base is angry at such a game being a major deciding a factor, and this is made worse by how his pincers only form 'rock' and so Kinnikuman beats him with 'paper'.
Mad about his lost, he teams up with Kinkotsuman and Iwao to sabotage the Olympics, but then he just disappear.
21st Chojin Olympics Arc[]
During the 21st Chojin Olympics: The Big Fight arc, we see that Kani Base has applied again to be a contestant, as he seeks to finally prove his worth over Kinnikuman. [5] He reveals that he was able to change his pincer-hands into fingered-hands with plastic surgery, so Kinnikuman's tactic of using "rock" in the rock-paper-scissor game is ineffective, but Kinnikuman uses 'scissors' instead, as now all he can do is 'paper'. He thus loses once more. [5]
Luckily for him, that wasn't supposed to be a preliminary challenge. Instead, he fails the first trial of the Olympics, the Chojin Sieve, and is disqualificated from the Olympics once more.

Kani Base was present during Kinnikuman's fight with SteCasse King.
Survivor Match Arc[]
Kani Base hears Neptuneman's message and travels with other Justice Chojin to Osaka Castle to support Kinnikuman during his fight with Super Phoenix.
Wolfman - The Warrior in the Doyho[]
Kani Base was invited to Wolfman’s retirement ceremony. After Geronimo, he was suppose to cut a little bit of Wolfman’s topnok with a pair of scissors, but he declines, showing that he has returned to his pincers-like hands. But since it has been a while since he had those type of hands, he accidentally cut the whole topnok.
Luckily for everyone, Coyoteman manage to repair that problem, and Kani Base is beaten up by Curry Cook and Cubeman for been such an idiot.
Kinnikuman Nisei[]
Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection Arc[]
After years of continuous humiliations, he return to the Olympics with six arms now, prepared to face anyone at the rock-paper-scissors game. The new law of the Olympics ban anyone that suprass 23 years, but the comitee decide to make an exception for him.
He is pared with Mantaro in a twisted fate joke, because he’s the son of the chojin that has already defeated him twice: Kinnikuman! Unlucky for Kani Base, the first preliminary wasn’t about rock-paper-scissors, but “Look Over There”. Mantaro manage to defeat him, and Kani Base is, again, eliminated in the first preliminary trial.
