Camel Clutch is one of the signature finishing technique of Ramenman.

About[]

The Camel Clutch is a technique where Ramenman sits on the back of a downed opponent before he hooks his hands around the opponent's chin and pulls up until the opponent's stomach rips open and they are pulled apart.

History[]

The Camel Clutch is first seen during the 20th Chojin Olympics Arc in Ramenman's match against Brockenman. After beating down Brockenman, Ramenman would use this technique to murder Brockenman by ripping him in two.[1]

Later Ramenman would use this technique on Kinnikuman to try and kill him but Ramenman would let go of Kinnikuman after smelling that Kinnikuman had soiled his pants.[2]

In the 21st Chojin Olympics Arc, Brocken Jr. would use the Camel Clutch on Watchman, ripping him in half as a demonstration of what he would do to Ramenman.[3]

Later Brocken Jr. would try and use the Camel Clutch on Ramenman to avenge his father's death, however, Ramenman would use his Blood Vessel Cutter technique to strike a pressure point on Brocken Jr.'s leg to make him let go.[4]

While disguised as Mongolman, Ramenman would try to use the Camel Clutch on Springman before stopping, realising that using the technique would expose his identity.

During the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc, in Ramenman's match against Motorman, Ramenman would fully use the Camel Clutch again, using it to rip Motorman in half.

In Kinnikuman (2011), Ramenman would refuse to use the Camel Clutch anymore, wanting to be a Justice Chojin who refused to kill anyone and retired the lethal finishing move.

Trivia[]

  • This technique would go on to appear in the spin-off series Tatakae!! Ramenman where the move would be toned down to just breaking the opponent's spine.
  • In the animated adaptation of the original Kinnikuman manga, when Ramenman kills Brockenman by ripping him in half with the Camel Clutch, it is changed to Ramenman turning him into Noodles after crushing his back and eating him.
    • Also in the anime, Kinnikuman escapes the fate of being turned into finished ramen when Ramenman sprinkles garlic seasoning on him, contrasting from being disgusted by Kinnikuman defacating on himself.
