Spending today tinkering with a combination of ideas that have surfaced in my Mastodon feed over the last several days:

1. Shawn Graham’s use of MkDocs with Obsidian to create easy markdown-based web publishing.
2. Tim Hutton’s script that converts your downloaded Twitter archive to markdown files.
3. Somebody’s suggestion (which I did not bookmark and can no longer find) to publish your Twitter archive via a static site generator like Eleventy.

The result: Birdsite, a semi-navigable archive of my various twitterings between 2008 and 2022.
