Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Location: Wakefield, Yorkshire Region.

Salary: Cira £35,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience, Plus Benefits & Standby fee for on call.

About The Role:

The company are looking to expand their engineering team with self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to work full time within this reputable company serving mainly across the Yorkshire region.

Duties:

• Installation, commission and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems (in line with current NSI standards and customer requirements)
• Ensure repairs and installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely manner.
• Respond to service calls when needed on all types of fire and security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.
• Produce reports and complete paperwork accurately and complete timesheets within required timeframe.
• Mentor junior/apprentice engineers to improve their knowledge and skill levels.
• Callout duty is required on a rota basis.

Candidate Requirement:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years’ experience in fire and security services.
• A proven track record in the security sector.
• Professional communication when meeting with clients on site.
• A high drive to succeed and carry out varied tasks and work to company deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ensure all stock is signed out and that van stock levels are kept up to date.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Willingness to work away from time to time.
• Full clean UK driving license

Company Benefits:

• Cira £35,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience, Plus Benefits & Standby fee for on call.
• Permanent position, working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
• Overtime available, paid at a premium rate.
