Very neat idea. I like the presentation a lot. It feels hard to know when you can hit the people, when they have been hit, and when they are close enough to threaten you.
Woahh!! Nice visuals.. Loved the mini cut-scene that appears during gameover!!
Nice game, cool concept! Though I’m not really sure why it takes quite a bit of swinging to actually kill the heroes - do they have hit points that I’m unaware of?
They should die almost instantly but we didn't have time to fix it in the code haha
Thanks for playing!
Art looks great and the music was nice as well. Though the gameplay was ok-ish, it was pretty hard to shake the enemies off and was a little bit annoyed when I already hit them off of my head but still died. But overall it was fun and nice little concept, good job!
great work! I really love the artwork and the movement is really smooth!
and the concept twisting other games' colossus boss was really enjoyable :)
really like it!
I adored the art and animation for the collosus and love the music although it seems a bit staccato for a game about a huge lumbering collosus. Gameplay wise I think my expectations threw me off. I expected to be able to use my giant arms to just swat enemies away with one big swing (kind of like the game "Garden Gnome Carnage" (you should try it)) and it too me many tries to realise I had to continuously shake until they came off. More feedback as a result of my actions would have helped me understand the gameplay a lot better I think. I also kept dying from enemies that I had knocked off but had already triggered a delayed death trigger.
Honestly a reverse shadow of the colossus is sorely needed just in general. Love the concept. GJ <3
Your game art's so cool. The tiny enemies looked like their colors blended with the environment, maybe some contrast with an outline, or a blob shadow, would help to locate them while moving. Controls felt super nice and new for me as well. Good Job!

Nice! I felt like getting to smash the heroes was really difficult, i would be just waving around and they'd just be walking all over me anyways so i havent lasted much, really. The presentation is very very good, very clean, the assets look great, the music works really well. Great job over all!
Nice idea - rating for rating?
Sure thing!
The arm motion is smooth and fun! If the hiting SFX has more feedback I think the gameplay would be very satisfying.
Nice concept, very simple and it works!
I really liked this music and this minimalistic cut scene! good job)
Interesting gameplay! Absolutely stunning artstyle!
This game is unique and fun. The little dudes are a bit fast, though. The controls are engaging, though it could use a way to control both at the same time. The game was a great length for being a jam game as well.
Really nice concept, would like more mechs but for the time given to all of us great job :) + cool graphics. Keep it up :)
found you on the GDAU server haha, nice to see a fellow aussie!
nice work on the graphics and animation, and i love the unique spin on the concept of playing as the enemy. i think some sort of hit animation would really sell the impact of swatting the heroes off you.
heyy haha im actually indonesian but im just in the server since im interested in working in aus since its a neighbouring country! :D
and thanks so much for the feedback! i would love to make the hits feel more impactful after the jam
Nice game ! I like concept, it's fun and the graphics is really good ! It’s very satisfying to sweep heroes with one hand. Congrats to the team !
I'm noticing a lot of people struggling on this one, but all I did was aimlessly swing my mouse left and right and killed, like, every enemy I encountered XD
The presentation and concept of the game is great! I love the design of the rock colossus, and playing as him felt empowering. The gameplay got pretty stale after a while though. All I did was swing the left arm around and basically everything died lol. And because it didn't seem like there was any sort of ramp in difficulty, I got bored kinda quickly and just let the enemies come to me.
Still though, I think this is a great base if you decide to expand on the mechanics! Maybe if the golem got new abilities and if new heroes that can counter those abilities were introduced, I could see this being a smash hit ^^
Thanks so much!
Even with a lot of attempts it's still quite tough to handle the first two. I think I'm just bad at it :D Cool concept though, and nice animation.
I love the idea here, at first I wasn't sure what you were going for from the screenshots but when I started to play it, I realized I should have gotten the idea a lot sooner. I really like the reverse shadow of the colossus concept and the art is really pleasing to go with it too. I definitely think it's a tad too difficult, perhaps starting with just a single opponent at first like Shadow of the Colossus would be a bit better, at least to ease into it.
However there is one big change I would recommend that can be done in 2-4 lines of code and will greatly improve the QoL for the game. I started on the webGL version but found it impossible because right clicking would keep bringing up the web player properties. So I downloaded the game and had a slightly better time there. I'm not sure if it would fully fix the issue but you could try confining the cursor lockstate so that you reduce the chance of player's sending the cursor outside of the game window and clicking on something unintended.
Thank you so much for the helpful feedback! I'll make sure to relay this to our programmers :D
