This is a really good demo. It looks great, sounds great, has good voice acting, and the story/puzzles are really interesting. Only two things I could think of: sprint doesn't seem to work (assuming will be fixed in the final version) and I was unsure where to go at one point in the game. Perhaps, adding some additional directions/clues might help? Either way, I really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to the final version.
Played this game recently and thought it had some promising features to it, though there were a couple of elements I thought needed tweaking. The atmosphere's definitely notable and the graphics look good. I'd suggest increasing the sprint speed though. Plus I'd suggest thinking about whether additional clues might need to be implemented to ensure the player knows where they're meant to go at certain points, as I did reach a moment where I was very unclear on what the game wanted me to do next. Playthrough below!
Here's my playthrough of this demo and this... this is amazing. The story is so freaking good so far for the demo and the spookiness was there and caught me a couple times. Also, the quality is great as well. Overall 10/10 and I cannot wait till the full release!!
A Bit slow paced but overall a great experience, would recommend to work more in the puzzles most especially the "911" part Notes are not the hard to miss and confusing but good story line. Will be expecting more from the full release Great Job Guys keep up the Good work!
This is a good game really. But i suggest that on the demo, you shoud put some jumpscare to make the game more interesting. But overall very good game. Please watch guys, thanks!
I played this during Steam Next Fest so I'm not sure if theres been changes since. I like the atmosphere, concept of it and the voice acting. I did manage to get lost abit because I didnt realise the safe was under the note. I also didn't realise I got another text. Apart from that good job and I'm looking forward to trying out the full game!
This game was really, really amazing, the visuals and the sounds were really no point and was taken aback by how good and well it sounded! The amount of work that went into this game was super great and really spoke for itself. (Video below if anyone wants to watch!)
Every ad that was done, even the magazine, the little note by the grave, the extra assets like the police tape or the buildings in the background, the moving trees, they just all looked amazing and really added to the environment and to the whole game as well as the game felt alive and in a way.. Full and satisfying as there was a full and real world going on!
The sounds were really great, well placed and *really* added to the environment and ambience. It also made the world that much more full and breathed life into it really, really well. The voice acting was also really well done and was pretty lively. Only thing I would suggest to change would be the volume of the person who threatens the player's character in the game; it was not as loud as the rest of the game and the player's character as well. But other than that, the sounds were really on point and was just perfect; the occasional spooky noises were great and really made the area seem spoopy when it played!
The story was good as well! Won't comment that much on it as there was a lot of plot holes in it, but from what is there; I'm very excited to find out more as to what has happened and to learn more about the characters in the game. One thing I would suggest is to let the players play as the main character before the accident he has so that they get to feel the emotions and everything throughout the characters' small backstory, this would also give the girl that he is looking for the opportunity to have a more solid backstory. But other than that, the game really does well with what little story there is and makes it really enjoyable!
The puzzle was pretty interesting and not too complicated to do! So no complaints there at all from there.
But yeah, that was a smash of a game and really loved playing it! Was super engrossed in what world and story there was, and it looked and felt like a super great game! Congrats on the amount of work you guys have put into the game, the little details and everything really show the passion, and love that's gone into this! Great job and good luck on working on it plus any future projects! Hope you all take care and stay safe!
Hello! My name is La Skarlett and I have a youtube/twitch channel. This game is really scary for me. Sometimes I've got to watch other sides of the tv because I can not see what it was in front of me.
Buenas! Comparto el mío en español. Quizás me esperaba algún susto final pero de todas formas me parece intrigante seguir con la historia. Ojalá salga completo pronto!
First of all :D I have a small brain right. So here is the point of view of a very small brain. I had some trouble understanding few things. It wasn't that obvious for me where to go. I didn't even hear the incoming message from my sister after "Take a seat" segment. But most importantly I didn't see that safe underneath the last letter.. That was an actual reason I died. So I had to do the whole thing again. I wish I could skip the dialogue at the bench. Probably no one had issues like I did, I just wanted to give some feedback. Overall great demo! I'm very looking forward to the full game.
This definitely has potential to be pretty good. The puzzle clues are so confusing though. They're very vague and almost misleading. It's a cool demo besides that though. Thanks!
Don't let the thumbnail fool you. Your game in the video is the second one.
This was a great start for a promising game. I really liked the idea of solving puzzles in a meaningful way. It was a very well made atmosphere and story. I gave some critique in the video about urgency in the game. Disabling run is a bit odd since it removes the pressure of time. I know why the character can't run, but it still felt too weak of a reason. It made the character act like he doesn't truly desire to live. I probably can assume you will have sprinting in the full game. For the demo maybe let the player have a much shorter sprint (one or two seconds long) to show that he is trying to survive. Other than that, the game is really exciting and I have wish listed the game on steam. I can't wait to solve more puzzles!
Immersive is the first word I'd use to describe Psych. Rather than go for the "Gotcha!" moments, it works hard to get you immersed in the story and setting. You're thrusted into a park late in the evening, and before you know it you're wrapped up in some weird stuff. There were plenty of moments where I expected a jumpscare, and yet no jumpscare came. This helped to keep me on my toes throughout the playthrough.
Story-wise Psych is a bit out there at first. I wasn't exactly getting hooked, but then the hanger at the end had me asking questions and wanting answers. By that point I realized I had actually been hooked and enjoying the story, even if it felt a bit farfetched. A pleasant surprise was the voice acting, I don't expect that in indie games I play, but this one had voice acting and it was pretty good. The companying subtitles had a couple of grammatical or capitalization errors, but overall nothing that couldn't be lived with.
The setting and graphics really help set the mood. Parks are creepy after dark man, and ya'll hit the nail on the head with it. I won't lie walking the short distance between the trees to get to the phone booth had me a little nervous, again expecting jumpscares. That sort of ambiance kept going all the way til the end, I really felt like I had to check behind me just to make sure something wasn't going to come out of nowhere and get me.
Overall this was a nice little teaser of a demo. It has me asking questions, and wanting to know answers. I'm looking forward to the full release, and the answers I'm now seeking.
Alright, so. I don't usually play horror games (i mostly play RPG maker horror one's) so I decided that this one would be a great first experience.
That being said, I'd like to say that it's a very immersive horror game. Had my heart beating fast a lot lol. I feel like that a big part of it has to do with the fact that there is a time limit as well as the atmosphere make you have a small sense of dread. And I love it.
One thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that a. I couldn't save. I assume that saving will be a point in the full game (as there is a continue button at the main screen), but I'm the type of person who gets frustrated a lot and quits games easily lol (before I go back to beat them). But there's also a sprint option, but I noticed little-to-no differenes in the pacing of the character. Was this intentional? Or does it not exist because it's the demo? On the one hand, not being able to run adds to the whole scary atmosphere, but sometimes it can feel slow because the distances are so great. However, I get that this is a demo so these features might not be here, but will be added in the demo (which is my greatest bet).
Overall, it seems like a lovely game with a great potential. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and the story around it is also very well laid out. It had me moving my mouse around all the time to check if anyone was coming or something would pop up suddenly. It was genuinely amazing!
Thank you so much for your feedback, Mrni! It makes us very proud, that Psych was your very first horror experience besides RPG Maker´s! You will definitely be able to save and sprint in the main game, that´s for sure! We will also add a ton more of horror and atmosphere and also make the smartphone more useful (More interaction). We hope we see you at the release!
Super cool demo! This game made me really realize how dumb I am and how I don't pay enough attention to details with its puzzle. At first, it seems hard but then when you solve it; you realize that everything was really given to you. The game also looks fantastic and the story has me hooked. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on when this is fully released. I can really tell there's a lot of talent behind this project, so I'm super excited to see what the future brings. Overall super fun demo, and I can't wait for the full game!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback! The "Slenderpages" are actually a little easter egg in honour of the original Slender creator! We have some easter eggs implemented!
Not bad. Also kudos for putting in a game over screen for the drug kicking in. Though I got lost quite a few times trying to figure out the puzzle. I'd suggest making the path a bit more obvious for people to find. Other then that, not bad.
this game looks great but doesn't have that much going for it besides the story. its a good story but the game doesn't really scare me and on top of that the mechanics aren't really used. the character seems very dumb but i like that he feels very much like Ethan from resident evil village but for what it is its a great demo if your showcasing the story and graphics. if you want to see my reaction/playthrough of this here it is.
if you checked it out I appreciate you and your support.

Played the full demo, rather intriguing, although mildly confusing at times, if you'd like to see my playthrough of the demo, you can do so here:
