very cute style and the music is so jazzy! great work that feels very polished, so many levels for just a 96h jam. Could easily be released as a full game! Amazing job :D

Easily taking top ranks!
The amount of work this must have had as a team... I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall and seen the pipeline in-action all four days.

Developer(+2)

Haha, thanks - those were some very intense 4 days indeed. It also helped that we all had a relatively healthy amount of sleep, and we were lucky to not encounter any massive issues, it all just flowed quite nicely. If you're curious about the source code, you can check it out here! https://github.com/ARKANYOTA/gmtk2024/

idk what I'm more jealous about, your level count or your sleep 🤣
And thank you! I'll look at your commit history, maybe it'll give some insights

An extremely polished game, the main mechanic is realy interesting, the globs are funny, and the pixel art is awesome. It's cool that you managed to make this realy good game in only 96 hours.

Really cool idea, with a ton of content, really lovely visuals and sound design, and it's quite nice overall. Only thing that really hindered my enjoyment was the controls, namely dragging the blocks locks up and doesn't allow you to, even though you should be able to, which felt pretty frustrating and happened quite frequently. Still definitely recommended, though, and with a more polished control scheme this could be made a full release and no one could tell it's a jam game.

heey ty ! yeah we messed up with handle control xD BUT seeing all these reviews, we'll release it on mobile and PC with better handle lol

(the text under it is a copy paste bcs i'm lazy and maybe it interests you idk)

all these reviews mean a lot for us and it's why we are going to update our game and release it on mobile

we are currently working on :

- better tutorial

- satisfying handle and other UX

- simple levels and optionnal really hard levels (with no difficulty spike)

- new level menu select

- more living levels

and maybe:

- a new world with a new mechanic

- better lore comprehension (mouses brother, bear and it family)

and that's all ig xD

The sound design alone deserves so much praise!

extremely polished game, and the amount of levels you guys made even with this simple mechanic is insane!

controls are a bit sensitive

Oh damn y'all out here making a full nitrome game! This is amazing, a really great puzzle mechanic that you've pushed to its limits. The level of polish is astounding, the art is cute and fun, and I like how the theming changes throughout the game! I love it, 10/10 IGN, gimme more!

Developer(+1)

I love Nitrome, so I take that as a big compliment :)

I think this mechanic was scaled to it's limits! (pun intended)

Congratulations to the team, solid game

Excellent design! I love the bright colours and the mechanics work well! On web on windows the hand sprite was a bit buggy. A lot of levels for a game jam, very impressive!

Submitted(+1)

Absolutely fantastic, this already feels like a full game that I would buy on steam or play on my phone. Feel free to check out my submission too if you have the time!

Submitted(+1)

This is literally amazing! This game definitely deserves to win. Would love to see this be release officially on Steam etc... I would pay for this, thinking it was made in such a short time is mind-blowing

Wow super polished and tricky! took me a few levels to really understand - especially that the goal was for the red glob to touch the goal. There are sooo many levels really well done.

I encountered a bug with the snow glob when i bounced it it offset once of the ice globs - was all a little odd :D

Amazing work on this

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! It is definitely a feature and not a bug we accidentally found out and decided to leave out. ;)

Reminds me of the game snakebird :)
