html5 game not updated with new uploaded zip file

Hi,

I published a small html5 game on the web page. I fixed some bugs and tried 1) deleting the old file and uploading a zip file with the same name, and 2) uploading a zip with a different name and then choosing the new zip file to be played in the browser. However, after hours passed, when I ran the game on itch.io, it was the previous version with unfixed bugs.

I checked on different devices and browsers, and cleaned cookies as well - so it's not the caching issue. They all provide the previous version. I checked the 'run game' button. It's linked to https://html-classic.itch.zone/html/ID/index.html with the ID same as what is linked to the download link on the edit page. But the downloaded zip file is the new version.

Is it just because itch.io needs to take a while to update the game, or is there any other issues I didn't notice?

Thanks!

Issue fixed. It turns out that I forgot to rename the HTML file to 'index.html' so somehow the previous index.html file was kept in the new version...
